After Install SEP 12.1.3 on Windows 8 I Receive PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Hello People: I have installed on my Server the SEP 12.1.3

My problem is on Windows 8 pc's, When I install endpoint 12.1.3 client (On a new Windows 8 PC or on a Windows 8 Upgraded from Windows 7 PC "32 or 64 bits" Enterprise) The process complete fine. But when I restart the PC, I receive the sad screen :-( PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA Message. If I remove SEP on save mode, the computer work fine.

Any HELP or IDEA about how to fix this issue?

Since this is the latest version, you should call support and submit the full dump.

What components are installed?

collect the full memory dump when the issue occure, submit it to Symantec technical support team.

Does installing only AV on win 8 too have this issue?

Have you cross check the version you have installed is 12.1.3 or old one.

For this client download the 12.1.3 client version from Fileconnect and install on client.

If it again still showing error then raise the case with symantec support

Hello,

PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA issue was a fix with SEP 12.1 RU3 version.

BugCheck 19 (BAD_POOL_HEADER), 50 (PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA), or D1 (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) references various drivers

Fix ID: 2860505

Symptom: The Symantec Endpoint Protection client experiences various blue screens, including BugCheck 19 (BAD_POOL_HEADER), 50 (PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA), or D1 (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL).

Solution: Updated the SymNetDrv component to avoid a buffer overflow.

Since in your case, this issue is still occuring, please collect the Full Memory Dump files and create a Case OR contact Symantec Technical Support.
