After upgrade to latest version, failing to start SEP

    hi,
I just upgraded the console to the latest version and most of the clients updated fine.

I have a server (windows 2003 32 bit), which this didn't work.  I just tried to remove and manually install it, and i am still getting an error.

first of all, when i reboot, the icon doesn't show up and it is not running in the background.

the first error looks like this when i try to start it up:

then when I click yes, I get this:

    http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/9876/error2p.jpg

If i click no, then the window does open but it's strange that it's not starting up on bootup!

Any ideas on why this is happening? thanks!

    Open the Services.msc

Right-click on the System Event Notification service and click on Properties.

Under the General tab, verify that the startup type is set to automatic and start the service.

Click OK and start the Symantec Management Client service.
