Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition

Hi all

I just upgraded last week SEP 12.1.5337 to the server 2008 and automatic deploy to all clients (26) as usual.  Then after that i got the messages from all users report that when they open the computer they get the massage "Windows7 action center notify that both windows firewall and symantec firewall turn off!"

I´ve checked one of them and the Symantec protection firewall is on and the Symantec client  with "green dot" status.

I tried to open action center and click turn on symantec firewall and click trust this Symantec but the notify come back later after a restart.

I´ve uninstalled and reinstalled SEP on one computer but no help.

Have you apply firewall policy ?

The firewall policy is default. and before this upgrade it still work with 12.1.RU3 version.

Before upgrade is it show enable?

have you made it to disable windows firewall always as per this document

And to COnsodeadmin: Yes before upgrade everything is fine. Working before upgrade but not after.

I ´ve checked 4 computers none of them have the notify anymore.

It works now.!

You need to set the Windows Firewall to disable always in the SEP firewall policy
