I successfuly fixed all the issues with agent and image distribution on the subnet where DS server located.
I use DS for HP Thins only.
However, I have some problems when trying to make it work with different subnets.
1. Total 4 subnets. 1 - 172.x.x.x and 3 - 10.x.x.x. DS server is on 172.x.x.x
2. When trying to push agent to 10.x.x.x I can see only 172.x.x.x computers. Sure that all computers appear in AD.
I can push the agent if type computer name of 10.x.x.x
3. remotely connected to Thin on subnet 10.x.x.x - the latest agent is installed with IP address of DS server (172.x.x.X)
Regardless that Thin box has agent installed and port 402 is oppened on firewall to DS server, the icon of this Thin does not appear in DS console.
The address in agent pushed from the console initially was set 172.x.x.X (as for 172.x.x.x subnet)
DS server is natted so the address 172.x.x.X (DS server) is 10.x.x.146 for computers on 10.x.x.x.
I changed the IP in agent on the 10.x.x.x box to 10.x.x.X correspond to 172.x.x.X). The box immediately showed up in console.
I was happy that found a solution. Before pushing agent to other boxes on 10.x.x.x I changed the IP in agent distribution wizard.
But when I try to push the agent with IP 10.x.x.X I get red circle with network not found message.
Looks like to accomplish agent distribution with right address other ports should be openned.
