agent not reporting to console

hi all,

i'm just new here, please advise me what to do regarding the agent does not appear on the console of DLP server. i already installed agent on windows 7 (x86)

did you provide the server IP/host address while installing agent?

yes i did provide the ip for agent when installing it.

is there a firewall in between which is blocking comunication. open port 8000 on firewall.
