AIM 6.8 is working; however, emotion icons are RED-X in IM window

We successfully configured our IM Manager 8.4 for AIM 6.8. We're able to login to AIM 6.8 without any problem and to exchange IM messages with AIM buddies. However, when we send an emotion expression such as :-) , we will get a RED X on the IM window instead of the emotion image. Does anyone have this problem? Please check out screenshot.

I am seeing this without IM Manager. I doubt that this software is the cause. Have you contacted AOL about this?

I have the same problem. While I dont have the errors reported in this kb http://service1.symantec.com/support/ent-gate.nsf/854fa02b4f5013678825731a007d06af/154b0b57e92ceb8488257341006a9f1c?OpenDocument it seems to indicate if you can't contact the Buddy Art (BART) servers you can't do emoticons. The way I read it, IM Managers CANT contact the BART servers.
