  • 1.  Alert Tablespace is almost full DLP

    Hi!

    I want to know how resolve this Warning

    Code: 2301

    Summary Tablespace is almost full

    Detail Oracle tablespace LOB_TABLESPACE is over 83% full.

    User stumunro posted a solution to this here: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/tablespace  You need to run the alter tablespace account from sqlplus to increase the table that is full.  

     

    If you feel uncomfortable doing this I would open up a ticket with Symantec and they can help you out with this.

    • Use an effective data retention policy
    • Examine what sort of incidents are your detection policies are generating. Policies not tuned? Large attachments, or a lot of attachments being pulled into the database?
    • Limit retention of attachments associated with incidents with a respone rule
    • Delete (some) incidents completely from the database, or
    • Delete incident attachments, but retain the incident information
    • Consider adding space for LOB_TABLESPACE
