  • 1.  Alert "Your computer might be at risk"

    Hello.
    SEP 11.0.4 installed on XP, definitions is up-to-date. In a system tray appears alert  "Your computer might be at risk ..." despite of SEP client works. Alert disapear after disabling and enabling SEP client.
    Reinstalling client didn't help.
    Maybe someone has got the same problem.

    i think the problem is with WMI

    Up grade your client to ru5(11.0.5) there is a fix for this problem
    Windows Security displays the warning "MALWARE PROTECTION out of date" after a user manually runs an Active Scan or a Complete Scan
    Fix ID: 1486799
    Symptom: Windows Security displays the warning "MALWARE PROTECTION out of date" after a user manually runs an Active Scan or a Complete Scan.
    Solution: Symantec Endpoint Protection was modified to allow the product to query the Windows Security Center information correctly.

    As aravind said its better to upgrade... RU has lot of fix...
