    How to enable for non-admin user to change settings in SEP.

    In SEPM go to Clients-->corresponding group---->policies--->location specific settings--->client user interface settings change to client control and see

    If server control, only local administrator can config in "change  settings" ??

    Server Mode Server is in complete control of the client and the user can only modify what the administrator specifically allows

    To enable Proactive Threat Protection on SEP client

    Logon to the SEPM --> Policies --> Virus and Protection policy – Balanced --> Protection Technology --> SONAR  --> uncheck Enable SONAR

    In the Instrusion Prevention policy, click Settings, then uncheck Enable Network Intrusion Prevention and Enable Browser Intrusion Prevention.  

    To enable Network Threat Protection access on SEP client

    Go to the Specific client group > Policies > Location specific setting > Client user interface settings > Edit settings >  check Allow user to enable and disable firewall, Allow users to enable and disable Network Threat Protection

    To enable Virus and Spyware protection feature access on a SEP client:

    Logon to the SEPM --> Policies ---> Virus and Spyware Protection ---> Virus and Spyware Protection – Balanced --> Protection Technology --> Auto-Protect --> uncheck Enable Auto-Protect

    1. Click File System Auto-Protect, then uncheck Enable File System Auto-Protect.
    2. Click Internet Email Auto-Protect, then uncheck Enable Internet Email Auto-Protect.
    3. Click Microsoft Outlook Auto-Protect, then uncheck Enable Microsoft Outlook Auto-Protect.
    4. Click Lotus Notes Auto-Protect, then uncheck Enable Lotus Notes Auto-Protect.
    5. Click TruScan Proactive Threat Scans, then uncheck Scan for trojans and worms and Scan for keyloggers.
    6. Click OK.
