Allow Resource Delete

This issue has been solved. See solution.
I have a customer who wants to maintain all their organisational resources (cost centres, locations, subnets) in a spreadsheet and push imports to update the NS. Therefore if a resource is deleted from the spreadsheet, it needs to delete in the NS too. I've checked the "Allow Resource Delete" box in the Import rule, but resources remain in the CMDB anyway. Can anyone help? The Connector User Guide 6.5 does state "Allow Resource Delete (Import of non-asset resources only)". Why? A lot of imports are for assets, yes?

I've just answered my own question. KB article 17353 explains that the resources must be created from the import to start with. Only then, will the delete feature work on future imports. I tested this in 6.5 and it works well. Would be good if the User Guide explained this.
