Is there a way we can send an application to a client and get the users to manually run the application? We have some remote users that we want to push software package out to and let them install it when they are ready and once disconnected from VPN.

Is this possible? Can we have the software waiting to be installed showing in the altiris agent or even have a donwload link for the software so they can download it and run it using the Altiris local admin account?

Sure,

make a managed software delivery policy

Change the delivery schedule to "User must turn on from Symantec Management agent"

then they can initiate that delivery by opening the symantec agent selecting the software deliver and clicking the application task
