    Hello All,

I'm square in the middle of standing up a 7.5 environment to replace SMP 7.1 and I've run into a snag.  We have gone through the implementation guide, the CEM whitepaper, the admin guide and there is very limited information about using 3rd party certs outside of the actual requirements.

Notification Server - 3rd party certificate authority w/ server certificate also  (ex.  issued by: verisign issued to: notification server)

Site Servers - 3rd party trusted root (issued from: verisign issued to: verisign)

    Clients - ??

    CEM Gateways - ??

    CEM Website - ??

These are the kinds of things that we are having a hard time with as our security policy restricts the use of self-signed certificates...

Does anyone have any insight into this that has successfully used 3rd party certificates?

    Thanks

    Igor,

Thank you for the help.  It sounds like Joe is having the same issues that we are.  Please let me know if you find any further information in this space.
