Deployment Solution

Hello,

This might be a silly question, but I'd like to know the differences between Altiris agent that comes with Notification server and Aclient.

I was trying to install Aclient on a client computer that already got Altiris agent installed but received error message. However, after removed Altiris agent, I could install the Aclient on that computer. If they cannot be on the same computer, which agent should I use?

What kind of errors are you receiving? Basically the Aclient is used for Deployment Server while the Altiris Agent is used for Notifications Server as well as its solutions (which installs sub-agents). There shouldnt be a reason why they both cant be installed (we have 1800 stations at one campus with both agents).

Since there was a lot of errors in eventviewer on our server, I've just re-installed our NS/DS server and now can install both agents on the same client computer.
