Altiris Agent Install Screen Save Issues

We have issues trying to save settings for Scheduled Push to Computers on the Altiris Agent Install screen.  When we changed the Schedule and click Save Changes the page thinks for a minute refreshes with the changes and everything looks ok.  When you try to navigate away from the window it comes up with a warning that changes will not be saved if you proceed.  I have rebooted and other things to see what might be causing this.

Does anyone know what might be causing this.  To get to this window as well it take a lot longer then normal in the past.

Thanks,

Kris Turner

What version of NS are you using?

Can you specify v6 or v7?

Not sure if this is related.

Not sure if this is related.  When we try to edit a task, for instance tellilng it to stop after running for 30 mins and then hit save.  We go back into that section and the check mark is gone.

First thing to check

and maybe you've already done this, so forgive me. Make sure you haven't accidentally (or purposely) loaded .Net 3.5 SP1 on the box.

Also, check the LogViewer.exe

Also, check the LogViewer.exe to see what is being logged in the NS's log when this occurs.  It should have more detailed information.

Yep.  I know for sure what

Yep.  I know for sure what .NET 3.5 SP1 does. :)  Good old Microsoft.  Had to rebuild my NS server the first time I made that mistake.  <--- The only time I made that mistake. :0)

I will post NS log's tomorrow.

Thanks,

Kris
