Altiris Agent for Linux

I am manually installing the ADLAgent onto a Linux server, copy my conf file in, start the service (even reboot the server). The server won't show up in DS until I add the server manually, how can I get the server added into DS automatically?

Hi,
I'd first double-check the conf file you are using. Take a look at KB 19177 -this shows you syntax of the adlagent.conf file. The all important TCP connection lines (TcpAddr & TcpPort) are highlighted in blue.
If it still doesn't work, post the conf file here (randomising/replacing any sensitive info) and we'll take a look.
