Altiris Agent not always connecting to DS

Hi Guys,
I have noticed a bug here in our environment with regards the Altiris Agent
The agent running on the client machines sometimes does not always communicate with the DS when deploying a job unless I manually close the connection on the agent and then reconnect or reboot the client computer
Has anyone seen this bug before?

I have seen this on various versions
all the way up to 6.9 SP2. In my case, the client appears off-line in the server, but on-line on the client side. Resetting the altiris client service fixes the issue. Not sure if that is the same thing you see. Extensive troubleshooting (including working with support) essentially came to a dead end. It doesn't happen all that often, but when it does, it can be pretty frustrating.
