Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

Dear All,

I have Symantec Endpoint Protection, DLP, BSER solution at our end. After going through the Installtion of SYmanten Notification Server I had Installed the same and it is also been populated with the solution whose lic i have.

I have pushed agent in to the client and the Symantec Management Client was installed sucessfully but after the installation the agent shows Shutting Down and The Notification server is not been registered in it I had tired alot by unistalling but it did not worked.

We are working in Workgroup Secenario we do not use ADS at our end. This just for the betterment in giving us solution.

What OS is the server, what database version are you using?

Got the Solution for the same the ANONYMOUS LOGON Rights to the NS Agent on the IIS server was not there after giving the same it started registering the user.

Can you please ellaborate on this a bit?  I ma having the same issue.  Existing clients will connect and update configuration and send inventory fine.  New installs - agent says it is connected, but never registers.  Never updates the configuration.  Where do you apply this setting?  Thanks!

  ya i am having same issue but a little bit...one of the clients showing that it is registered with notification server 7 but it doesnt change its time interval.......and the time i gave on NS7 is 1hour and 1 day for configuration and basic inventory respectively.........also i updated the agent by repeatedily for time.......bt still it is not changed.....
