  • 1.  Altiris Agent Push "Access is Denied"

    I've gone through several articles and made changes to my destination PC.  Initially, I was getting couldn't connect using credentials and I made changes to the File and Print sharing option in network properties.  That seems to allow me to connect to the \\hostname\c$ and admin$ admin shares.  My DS servers isn't allowed on the network. Will that make a difference in the errors I'm seeing?

    Access is denied also cone if your id which you have used for agent push not have admin acess

    Also check to see if you have a firewall enabled on the client machines that could be blocking this install, as well as an anti-virus preventing the agent to install.

    Like AJ_01 mentioned, you do need to be using an account that has local admin rights on the client in order to install the agent.
