i have push altiris agent from altiris server, it show fail to install?

have you disabled Simple File Sharing? turn off firewall.Ensure that the username and password being have sufficient priveledges on the target computer

What is the exact error message?

Check the log on the server for a more verbose error message.

What is the location of the logs?

I guess the environment is version 7?

The logs on the server you can view with altiris log viewer. You can find in start menu --> all programs --> symantec --> Diagnostics --> altiris log viewer.

Just try a new push and have a look in the log viewer at the same time.

In most cases the client firewall blocks the installation or the dns lookup fails.

Check for altiris client-server communication Ports

Port:80, 443,445,

as well as Check for firewall, Network connectivity, Authentication.

Found the issue in firewall and user authentication.

Now it solved.
