Altiris client registering multiple times in deployment console.

Hi All,
I have setup Deployment Solution 6.9 (Build 375) SP2 primarily for our HP thin clients. We're preparing to rollout a new Windows 7 SOE and have purchased a bunch of Altiris client licenses and registed the license within the Deployment Console. What I'm noticing is that our SOE laptops are registering multiple times in the Deployment Console. I'm guessing it's because of the wired and wireless NIC's. Is there any way to stop this - i.e. force the altiris client to use only 1 NIC?

The client should default to the wired NIC on the thin clients, do you need wireless? can it be disabled if not?
Look at the MAC addresses being registered in the Deployment Console, is it just the wired and wireless MAC's? Or others as well?
Try fully removing these devices from the Deployment Console and let them re-add themselves.
Easy
That is pretty easy. In the deployment Console go to:
Tool -> Option
Global tab
In the primary lookup key(s)
select MAC address and for instance Serial Number.
Then delete the duplicate machines. When they register they will do so with the serial number and the mac address. This will prevent duplicates from LAN and WLAN because the serial will stay the same.
