Is there a way to change the settings of the Altiris Client Service when I'm logged on to a server via RDP but without the console switch. The problem is that on domain controllers only domain admins are allowed to log on using the console switch, but our altiris guys are only server operators.  The Altiris version is 6.9.164 (x64).

Thanks

Console

Guenter,
the fact that a person is logged in as console doesn't change their rights/privileges. The only time I've seen an issue with this is when the service intereacts with the "default desktop" in some way.

You can do in non-console mode what you can do in console mode i.e. if you can modify a service in console, you can modify it non-console. It sounds more like the group itself doesn't have the correct rights/privileges.

Since you mention the group "Server Operators" - are you using Windows Server 2000?
