I would like to check if the following information are supported by CMS/SMS or if you have any information related to these.

Bare-Metal Provisioning for Linux and Unix servers

If Workflow can connect directly with third-party Service Desk software for Process Automation for Service Desk functionalities.

Does CMS/SMS have support for managed engine?

For the interfaces and reporting, does CMS/SMS have Data Export for OEM Reporting?

Can we set thresholds for compliance monitoring in CMS?

Do we have information on Exchange Connectors for CMS/SMS?

"Managed Engine" is a component of IIS7. For the interfaces and reporting, does CMS/SMS have Data Export for OEM Reporting? - Yes, it has a Data Connector and will export report data Can we set thresholds for compliance monitoring in CMS? - Compliance monitoring of what? Do we have information on Exchange Connectors for CMS/SMS? - I'm not aware of a specific Exchange connector, CMS/SMS will import from AD

So does this mean that Altiris can deploy on Linux/Unix servers as long as we’re talking about bare-metal provisioning?

Sorry if this was not clear. I was talking about this: https://www.manageengine.com/ which is used by our customer.

Compliance monitoring for resources on endpoints (e.g. Memory, CPU, Network).

I know SMS has a monitoring capability but does CMS have this for the endpoint side?

Can Altiris support connectivity with this software?

Yes you can deploy Linux to bare metal servers but you'll need to see the "Symantec Management Platform and Altiris Solutions Support Matrix" http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO9965 Symantec ITMS doesn't have a specific connector for ManageEngine, the Data Connector should be able to provide any interface data required. CMS will check for disk space usage but would need customising using WMI for memory and CPU usage I believe, I don't think it has a real time monitoring capability like SMS.
