Details
What status is the computer -- offline, online, or online and logged in? If they're online and logged in, does the user show?
By 'not finding', do you mean that when you do a 'Find Computers..' based on 'Logged on user' that it can't find the right system? Or do you mean that it doesn't show the computer to have a Logged on user at all?
Other details about the process you're following would be helpful.

I am having the same problem. New thin clients are showing up as "off line" or not at all. After a reboot of the ALtiris server, almost all thin clients are showing up as "off line".
Can't find computer
I have the same problem. I can see the computer in the deployment console. If I choose find computer, it says computer not found. This is the case for the computer name, I.P. address, etc. Users logged on/off makes no difference. I can still run jobs against the computer, just not find them.
I'm having the same issue.
I'm having the same issue. I'm saddened by the lack of testing and lack of integrity of this release. I expected a lot more from Altiris/Symantec.

Sometimes the user is listed with a different username or login; I check either Outlook or the Active Directory or both for the particular user.
