We have 2 networks which are both managed by Altiris, one is 6.5 SP1 and the other 6.9 SP3 all our clients have Lumension Endpoint Security which may be better known as the latest update to Sanctuary Device Control.

Since the update to this software we have the lost ability to see the logged on user from within the Deployment Console. The computer shows that it is active but will not show a logged on user whether it is local or a domain account.

What services/ports/transport methods does the Altiris client service use?  Fom investigating this issue I believe AClntUser.exe sends the user details to the console, i can confirm that this is definetely running ok as before.

Something in the Lumension Client is stopped the logged on user from showing

Any help would be appreciated

Exceptions

I am unfamiliar with Lumension, however, is there a way to place exceptions on ports and/or executables?  If so, you will want to ensure that port 402 is not blocked and also add aclient.exe and aclntuser.exe as an exception.  You are correct that AClntUser.exe sends the user details to the console.
