    Dear All

We have just upgraded our Altiris server to the above in the hope that this would assist with the deployment of Windows 7.  Unfortunately this does not seem to be the case.  After distributing a Windows 7 image via .img we still get the system could not boot error insert the windows 7 repair and restart and then it all works.

Can any one give me a simple solution?  We are imaging to a single partition.  I've tried runing a script but after the .img downloads the DS wants to configure the machine before running the script so hence I then put disk in and restart then the correcting script runs after the machine finishes .img.  I've also tried doing a .wim but same issue.

I'm afraid I'm not a techie as such so any resolution would be nice in plain and simple instructions.

    Thanks everyone in advance.

You may want to modify the script task.  It is probably set to run in "Production" instead of "Automation".  Changing this will allow it to run in the Automation environment after the image has been pushed.

Thanks for the response and the screen print.  As you had attached the screen print I started to look more at what I was asking Altiris to do when deploying my image and running the script and noticed that I hadn't removed the tick from Automatically perform configuration task after completing this image task.  Hence the script wouldn't run HHhhhhh

So hence the script would not run Doh!  Thanks for just putting up with me.
