Altiris Software Dev Kit (ASDK)

Hello,

We just merged with another company and i added those computers into my current altiris deployment console.  They are on a different domain.  I was able to get certain jobs deployed as long as the job executes locally on the desktop.  For example, copy the install file locally then install locally.  However, if i want to install from the server, i get an error 1.  There is nothing in the event log that helps with this.  I am guessing its because its on a different domain.  I tried changing the username to othercompanydomain/username and default (local system account).  The default local system account works fine for copying the install file locally and executing but doesnt work for running the job from the server.  Any ideas on how to get this to work cross domains?  I am doing this via run script.

I might have something after posting this...i added my domain admin account to the local box and its deploying...lets see how it goes...

You'll need an account that has both access to the server share and local admin rights on the target PC. It's probably easier to copy the files down with one task and install with another.
