We are planning for migrating from 6.0 to 7.1, I want a make a clean uninstall of 6.0 agent and install 7.1 on the client machine thought the Console.

Basically, if I'm reading you right, you'll want to remove all the subagents (via policy), then finally remove the core agents. Then on the 7.1 server,  you'll have to do a discovery and push the new agents out (using AD, domain, network, or manual discovery).

To be more precise, we have built a NS 7.1 (SMP) test lab, presently our corporate and production machines are running on 6.1 agents, I want to run a batch file or Script to uninstall the old agent and install the new one.

I just find it more expedient to due it via the built in policies. Plus you get reports. I'll have to search around for a script.

Looks like our own Jason Gallas (and Nick from Altirigos) found a way.

Other ways. You can run aexagentutil /uninstallagents followed by aexagentutil /remove. Then you would have to do a rmdir (remove directory) forcing it to kill the open process of aexagentutil.
