  • 1.  Altiris - Filter regarding inventory agent

    I found there are several filters regarding "inventory agent".

    - computers with inventory plug-in
    - windows computers with inventory plug-in
    - windows/unix/linux/mac with inventory plug-in

    however, i can only find the first filter with data.

    what is the purpose of the rest of the filter?

    The others may be used in upgrade or uninstall policies that are not enabled so the filters never get updated.

    Yes. You can check if those filters are used by clicking the blue "Referenced by" icon under filter membership.
