Deployment Solution

I have a directory that houses subdirectories filled with .IMG file images used to image machines with. My question is, Is there a way to search through this directory filled with images for a particular directory or file embedded within those images? My process now is to load each image itself within Altiris ImageExplorer and look for the presence of this directory or file manually. I have a huge amount of images, and this manual process will take forever, otherwise.

As far as I know you must mount the image before you can actually search within it, so you've got to have the manual intervention present.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish with the file search?

To find where a certain directory is present within each image so that I can update that image.
