  • 1.  Altiris import export for names with '/'

Hi I am exporting the subnets and they have '/' in the name like 10.x.x.x/24 , and it fails to export because it thinks 10.x.x.x is a folder. Is there anyway I can import the subnets I want and have / in the name please.

    Hello SKHS,

Please find attached a re-write of the importexport util with a few quirks, including the fact that the exported data now goes to a file named based on its guid - so you don't have the problem related to the item name itself.

For additional information I recommand you run the tool with /? :D.

Note that this is a 7.5 build, and I'm not entirely sure whether it would work as-is on 7.6.

Hi Ludovic, I need to export items from 7.1 to 7.6 and it did not work in 7.1 as its looking for 7.5 assembly.
