Altiris installation

I am attempting to trial the Altiris Server Management Suite on a VM instance of a Windows 2008 Standard 64bit server, which meets the hardware requirements of the installation. I have downloaded the whole range of the product form the Symaantec Website, and constantly get the error screen attached, with no logs available:
Any advice or solution would be welcome.

You need Windows Server 2008 R2, not Windows Server 2008. If this is not the issue and you do have R2, please review the logs for SIM:

You have to install all the requirements first as mentioned by @nkit. After that try running the installer again.
