  • 1.  Altiris Mobile Configuration Editor Error

    I'm having an issue trying to edit my SCEP settings in the Altiris Mobile Configuration Editor. Attached are two screenshots of the error messages I am getting. I did try to follow the recommended steps in the article: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH186195, but it made no difference - the error messages still showed up and I was not able to edit my SCEP settings. Please advise.

    Did you try to access the altiris server with the fqdn?

    Are you running at least 7.1 SP1?  This (accessing configuration editor over SSL) was an issue in MR1 and prior and was resolved in SP1.

    Otherwise, have you tried resolving the Certificate Error you see in the browser?  I imagine you have used a self-signed certificate in IIS per the KB you linked.  Is that self-signed certificate installed on the computer you're using to access the console?

    I upgraded Altiris and the error message is no longer there!
