    Hi~

    I have a All-in-One Altiris Notification Server 7.5 (Virtual Machine) for PC inventory & software deployment with default database tool (Should be PGSQL)
     

    Can I just shutdown the host and perform VMWare snapshot for backup?

    (I am care the Symantec Notification Server support on this way for restore instead of the best practice on backup)

    Hi A-Law,

    Don't forget to backup your database as well. Only Microsoft SQL Server is supported.
