  • 1.  Altiris Notification Server Error

    Hello,

    I am new to the Altiris world here and the company I work for recently purchased Client/Server managament suite. Last week I installed the client/server management suite. It was working perfectly for a week, but today when I logged into the server I got an error that says

    Altiris Notification Server Error

    The following error occurred on the page 'ItemListView.aspx':

    No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

    I checked what altiris services aer running and the one that isnt running that concerns me is "Altiris Service" Whenever I try to start it it give me an error that says

    "Could not start the Altiris Service service on Local Computer."

    "Error 193: 0xc1"

    Any help will be apperciated.
