    Hi,

I'm in the process of changing the admin password used within the Altiris Suite and have stumbled upon a problem.

I've changed the password in the Notification Web Server console -> Configuration -Server Settings - Notification Server Settings - Application Identifty. There were no problems here.

The next stage that i try to change is the PXE Boot System. I'm using Linux managed deployment and i've edited the settings of this profile to use a different account. All appears to look like it's changed, and it saves accordingly. The pwl file is created using the new username, however if i close that window and go back to the PXE boot system it displays the information about the old login (i.e administrator rather than altiris).

Has anyone seen this before? If anyone can shed some light on this then that would be great.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Mark

Are you using the PXE Configuration utility to change the boot disk?
