We use Patch Management

We use Patch Management for all of our Microsoft patching.  What do you mean by complete microsoft products?  Here is a link to the Altiris Patch Management Solution 7.0 Release Notes.  Altiris KB37949  If this does not work go to kb.altiris.com and search for article 37649.  Hopefully this will help.

I can tell you that we patch around 1800 clients and it is working great.

(Note: John, I edited the link to work appropriately. Jim)

It can patch Microsoft products only

although I know this is on the roadmap to change. Perhaps you are looking for third party products, such as Adobe, Firefox, etc that vendors such as Patchlink offer patches for? Currently Altiris can't do this, but as I said, it's on the roadmap.

Service Packs should be considered as well

The Patch Module by itself will not install Microsoft OS Service Packs either.  Something to consider.  You will need the Software Delivery Module to accomplish that as of now.
