  • 1.  Altiris PXE-E52 error

    Hello,

     

    We are using Altiris deployment solution version 6.9 SP4. We were imaging Lenovo R61 laptops and now when we try push the image the error showing on the laptop is PXE-E52 no DHCP offers were received. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks

    Do other models still work fine?  If not, then your DHCP server isn't responding or potentially the scope is out of IP addresses.  If other models still work fine, but this one does not, you might check the BIOS revision, there have been instances where a newer BIOS will correct the issue, or if it's already at the newest revision, you might downgrade as the newer BIOS may have broken it.

    The DHCP is unable to provide IP address to the client.You can do DHCP reservation based on the MAC of the client or you can increase your DHCP scope.
