Altiris Report. 'Inactive Machines' report (more fields needed)

    Hi all,

    How can we show more info when we run the 'Inactive Machines' report?

    Ideally it will be good if we can select to run the report against a collection. (Instead of all computers. Use option to choose 1 collection and run the report for this particular collection only.)

    If that cannot be done, is it possible to run the reports and show an additional field - "IP address"?

     

    It is hard to know where is the machine base on the report. Some machines are not named correctly base on location.

    Most (if not all) of the built in collections take into consideration that the client is managed (meaning active). So therefore, filtering this report by collection isn't all that useful.

    That being said, if you follow the directions here -> Altiris KB24744 you can add that collection picker.

    Looking at the SQL, it shouldn't be too difficult to add that table, as it's pulling primarily from the item table. I'll see if I can do something later.
