Hi

In my company we need to collect a report on specific .bat files on each client pc.

For example a file lying on C:\BioCare\client\bin\ called Netlab2.bat and which version it is

Is this even possible?

i prefer a sql report if anyone knows some code.

Thans

The way i would go about it is to create a software resource with the VBS script in. create a detection rule for this software resource with the details you are looking for (file in said location).

Once you have created it you can right click on the newly created software release and actions then select Create Targeted Software Inventory.

This will create a software inventory policy which you can run at your desired schedule and allow you to then run it at a filter (All Computers for example) and this should be viewable from the Installed Software Report.

Otherwise if you need the file size info you would probably have to create a custom file inventory which would give you closer to what you want.

Hope this helps
