Altiris running on Virtual Server

I recently converted my Notification Server 7.0 to a virtual server running on an ESXi 3.5U4 box.  I'm only managing 70 hosts via the Client Management Suite Level 1 but the server is running at 100% all day.  It appears to be IIS and I've had altiris support look at it but they can't determine a problem.  I've tried giving the server full resources from the ESXi management console but it just seems to eat more proc and do the same thing.  I've discussed adding an additional NS and moving to it as a fresh start from the older install since it was a converted server but wanted some input from the forums first.  Any ideas on if I should try and save my current install or how to port it over to the new install?

Quick Question

IS SQL Installed locally or are you connecting to another server for your DB?  Also, what version are you running for SQL and for IIS?  What OS are you running for NS?

Processes

What type(s) of processor(s) and how much memory is allocated? What specific processes are running(Are they using up all the memory)? Can you provide more details to further trouble shoot. I wouldnt give up on it yet but you could always do a clean install

SQL Server location

If your SQL Server is on a separate server then try switching the NS connection from Application Credentials to SQL Authentication. We had that problem when we first deployed NS in my environment.

IIS is causing 100%

This is usually caused by the convert from physical to Virtual. IIS has a probelm with that.
Easiest step is to uninstall IIS, Reboot the server and reinstall it.
That mostly sorts out the problem.
Make sure you have a backup of you inetpub before you do this.
