I will be deploying Altiris 7 and ServiceDesk to 3 sites.  The sites are the US, UK, and Canada.  Each site has roughly 1500 nodes spread across many very small remote offices.  I want to allow room for growth.  I will be using a centralized hierarchy with a parent used for centralized management and reporting only.  The databases will be hosted on dedicated SQL boxes.

My design has a dedicated notification server, dedicated SQL, dedicated site server, and dedicated serrvicedesk server for each of the 3 sites.  The parent has a dedicated notification server, dedicated SQL, and dedicated site server.  All hardware will reside at one physical location.  This seems like way too much hardware.  Is my design on track?  What server roles can be consolidated onto one physical server?  I would like to use as few servers as possible without sacrificing performance.  I have a good selection of new 32 and 64 bit servers at my disposal.  Any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You could probably put service desk right alongside the notification server.
