Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

Hello

Generally when a machine comes to end of life I either choose retire/returned to lessor to reclaim its licenses. Unfortunately this clean out has got put on hold and is about six months behind.

I'm trying to figure out why some of the machines that have long since had the hard drives wiped, and been sent back to the leasing company late last year  still seem to be sending in inventory data

When i go into the Resource Manager for one of the machines I see

I am reading this right? its saying that the agent sent in inventory data yesterday?

This is now starting to cause issue as we are running reports of active machines that have an older version of AV on it then we are currently using. This is so they can be targeted for an upgrade. but machines  like this one that are long gone keep being found by the report we are running....

The date is not only when the machine communicates. This is most likely caused by an AD import. Everytime the AD import runs it updates the inventory for this record.
