Deployment Solution

Hi,

I would like to know what product we have for deploying pushing DLP agent accross 350 system.

There is no built in deployment within the DLP console for deploying the DLP agent. When you deploy the DLP Endpoint agent you have to remember to make sure the entire folder with all of the certificates, etc. is copied over before you perform the install.  The install_agent.bat file needs to know what folder these certificates exist in as well.

The intsall will need to be done w/ a local admin account and also a restart will be needed

I was looking at Symantec Client Management Suite powered by Altiris technology, does this solution help pushing DLP client in the client machine.

you can suggest what solution would meet my requirement.

You could leverage either Altiris Deployment Solution or Altiris Software Management Suite to do the deployment.  You would need a task to do the actual installation adn deployment.  It has been a very long time since I did any work w/ Altiris so I'm not sure what needs to be done to fully script or set this up.

Basically a software delivery job can handle the task.  You will need someone who is a better Altiris expert than I am to answer this.  I'm just responding because I know DLP
