This issue has been solved. See solution.

I installed SEPM MR4MP1 and upgraded to MR4MP2 both SEPM and SEP.

Problem:

In the console at Security Status show Attention Needed when click more details the status of client show Last Scan Time is "never".
But the client scan finished more than 3 time, and the client can update definitions.

How I do that.

Thank you.

Do the following...

- Delete the client from sepm.
- Go to the client and restart smc service.
    - To restart smc service do the following.
            - Start Run.
            - Type smc -stop.
            - Wait for 15 secs.
            - Again go to start run.
            - Type smc -start.
- Wait for max 5 mins and check if SEPM shows updated status of client.

Cheers,

Hi

-> The issue is pointing towards reporting. As the client is able to receive updates from SEPM as well as the scans are done successfully, there are very less chances to have issue at the client's end. There are chances of displaying incorrect information in the home page or reports if data base does not have updated entries.

Please provide additional information.....

-- Are we using embedded database?

-- How many clients or groups shows incorrect information?

-- Were you facing simillar issue earlier with MR4 MP1?

Thanks and regards,

I agree with Manik.

Try to run the Mgmt. Server config wizard and check if that helps to ge the Reporting fuctions straightened out.

Follow the steps.....

As the issue identified in MR4 MP1 and upgrade has been done, we are using same db here. So lets check DB validation first.

> Check the database by using dbvalidator. Following document will help you.
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security....

> If the test fails, need to reconfigure SEPM using new DB.

Try this...

I have this problem too but I can fixed, Try to setting " Regional and Language Options " in Control Panel. On Regional Options tab
1. Standards and Formats choose " English(United States) "
2. Location choose " Unites States "
3. Apply and Restart your server

Good luck,

Sorry to respond late

I can solve this problem by move all client to new server.
Difficulty is to move the machines to new server because the tool of symantec (sylinkreplacer) it can do but not all client.
I have to use the sylinkdrop move for each client.
however the problem has been solve.
