I have a form that collects customer information such as Name, Address, etc.  When the form is submitted, the form is routed via email component to several individuals for approval.

I have noticed that customer names that contain an ampersand have the & removed after the form is submitted.  For instance Johnson & Johnson is routed as Johnson Johnson.  Has anyone seen this before?

Workflow Solution 7.1 on Windows 2003 x64 server. 

some components like the label (or maybe ascii merge label, i can't recall which) do the same thing.  you have to escape the & with another &.  so for example - 

AT&T in a label component would need to be written AT&&T.

See if that gets you moving in the right direction.

I tried the double ampersands but both were removed.  These are text box components.

where are the ampersands removed?  in the received email content?  i tried to reproduce your error and couldn't; i tried using html and text content and both passed through the ampersand appropriately.
