Are you going to do any development with Android wear? In particular seeing calendar and tasks on a wear device?

In the latest android app, there is code to ensure that notifications are sent to the wear device, along with some changes that will allow the recent emails to be read on the watch and acted upon. The notifications for calendar and tasks should also be sent to device along with the same actions that are available on the phone notification screen

Question for you: I use Touchdown and have the Moto 360 Android Wear watch.  I would like my calendar reminders to show up on my watch, but not emails.  I would like emails and calendar to both show up on my phone.  

I can't figure out a way to do this, even with 3rd party apps.  I get way too many emails to have my watch vibrate every time one comes in, but rely on the watch to ensure I don't miss meetings.

Right now my workaround is to remove notifications for email in Touchdown, which is annoying as I don't get my little icon saying I need to read some new emails.

Any ideas, or can you add it in as a feature in some way?  Before Touchdown I had separate calendar and email apps so it was easy to block the latter through Android Wear settings.

unfortunately the mechanism that sends notification to your phone is exactly the same one that goes to your watch, so there is no way to separate these two

 

YES YES YES-- I really want to be able to see upcoming appointments on my watch at all times.  How can I do this?  anything or anyway to see calendar on my moto360 watch.
