Hai friends,

i am a network engineer responsible for managing our company accomodation network also. We have arround 1000 users connected to the accomodation network. regarding the network architecture, its just internet connection distributed to each rooms through our core, acces switches and load balancers.

and hence users are not under any common domain or may or may not be having anti virus installed in end device. Can any one suggest good solutions that can be implemented to avoid virus and malware attacks in this case.

are these in a workgroup atleast? You can install symantec on this remotely

If they are scattered and not in domain or workgroup, best to use is symantec cloud.

you will send an email to users to download the softwares ( or via USB or sharedfolder)

users will install the software and it will start reporting to the web console. You can manage them centrally

You can still install SEP in a non domain environment. SEP doesn't care whether machines are part of a domain or not.
