  • 1.  antispam for Centos

    One of our client wants a Symantec Antispam solution for their Centos server ? Is it possible to install Brightmail Gateway on Centos ? Or what will be actual Symantec Antispam product for Centos ?

    *CentOS 5.5 has been validated to work with variance but is not certified with SMF.  The variance is SMF requires to install missing dependant library on CentOS, libXp (libXp-1.0.0-8.1.el5). SMF is expected to work on this platform, any issues or questions  are handled on a case by case basis.  Resolution may include a recommendation to use a Fully Supported OS version.

    Dear pete ,

    So ....

    1.that there is no Symantec antispam solution for Centos ?

    2. there is no perfect porduct of symantec for centos . or

    It's possible to install brightmailgateway but I've to doos. something else after installing brightmailgateway on Centos.
