Hi there

I have a network of around 15 PC.

All our Antivirus definition have not automatically been updated since 31 December 2009.

Any idea what is causing the problem, and how it can be fixed?

Thanks
Lee

Yes that is the problem. In

Yes that is the problem.

In my Endpoint manager it says:

Latest Symantec Version: 2010-01-20 rev. 040

From what I could not understand in the link you gave me, are we still waiting for a patch for this issue?
Also even though it says 2009-12-31, the definition files are actually the latests on each client?

Hi again,

Yes, its just a problem with the dates. Symantec claims that the definitios are uptodate otherwise. And its already patched up, please find the link below ... This has been a topic of discussion for like many days... :) ... Some even call this a 2010 fiasco... :P

Hi Rafeeq,  In some SEPMs

Hi Rafeeq,

In some SEPMs the patch automatically got downloaded and the entire SEP was fine.

I am using 11.0.5002.333, neither did the update happen automatically not manually.  I tried updating the patch but it did not happen. It says that the Patch could not be updated.

Can you tell me what is the correct patch and where to locate?

I used this link and downloaded the patch shown in the link.
