    Running:

    SAV Corporate 10.1.6.6000

    Scan engine 81.3.0.13

    Virus defs 2/25/2009 rev. 21

     

    I've had a couple clients get infected with Antivirus360/SpywareProtect2009/Antivirus2009.  But SAV is not detecting, logging, or cleaning it.  Why not?  According to this article:

    it looks like it should be able to clean it.  Does Symantec monitor these forums so they can address new threats or issues with detecting/cleaning them?

    Our company ran into this after some computers came back from a conference that was out of town. We also run 10.1.6 and found that virus defs from 03/04/09 rev.19 would find and remove this issue. There was a Rapid Release that came out yesterday that included this update and updated our computers to 03/04/09 rev. 23. We have successfully cleaned three computers so far with this update. This update also helped witht the "Trojan.Vundo" attack too. Hope this helps.
